Marcela Bernal is a distinguished healthcare professional with a rich and diverse background in medicine, healthcare administration, and holistic patient care. She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages.
Marcela embarked on her medical journey by graduating as a Physician and Surgeon from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, in 1985. Her early years were marked by service in various clinics and hospitals as a primary care and emergency physician, accumulating two decades of invaluable clinical experience.

In 1997, Marcela's commitment to excellence led her to earn a degree as a Health Business Administration Specialist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali. Her expertise in quality assurance and medical auditing led her to become an educator, where she imparted knowledge in these critical areas for six years. She continued to serve as a medical auditor and quality assurance specialist for several esteemed institutions in Colombia, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare standards for over a decade.

In 2004, she embarked on a new chapter in her career by relocating to the United States. Here, she has made significant contributions to the healthcare industry. Initially joining RGB Group, Inc., a Healthcare Staffing and Human Resource Management Services company, she excelled as a Healthcare Administrator and Contract Manager. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare services.

Driven by her unwavering commitment to patient care, Marcela pursued further education and graduated as a Physician Assistant (PA) from Miami Dade College in 2017. As a licensed Physician Assistant in Connecticut, she has brought her extensive knowledge and holistic approach to healthcare, practicing Urgent Care Medicine, General Family Medicine, and Acupuncture. She places a strong emphasis on holistic care, offering patients a comprehensive approach to acute and chronic care, preventive care, and Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

While Spanish is her first language, Marcela is fluent in English, allowing her to effectively communicate and provide care to a diverse patient population.
